Mts Tester it is application for validating car dampers produced by Delphi Krosno in Poland. We were involved into this project as subcontractors of Automatyk-Projekt.

Short description:
Application is testing every single damper by forcing it with sinusoidal movement. During that process rebound and compression forces are checked. The purpose of this test is to validate if damper fits into given characteristics.

Features:

• - Forcing signal is generated with use of IOTech DaqBoard2K PCI card.
• - The process is controlled by PLC, that is master for PC application.
• - Mts Tester runs on Windows XP Professional.

Note:

Software was build as a successor of existing software working on working assembly line. Because of that, we decided to build simple simulator that has reduced time spend at factory. Testing every single change with simulator, we have substantially reduced production line delays, what cause reduced implementation costs.
